Coaching

Clients benefit most when they utilize my coaching services throughout the entire legal process. You receive the advantage of having an objective, on-going supportive resource to help you identify your individual needs,  prioritize them, help you prepare for upcoming case deadlines, and motivate you to take action as needed. This allows me to provide personalized divorce management, the flexibility to work closely with your attorney, if you so choose, and offer you more cost-saving opportunities.

As your coach, I will be your voice of reason and check-in partner. I will help you move through the emotionally charged decision-making process and will make sure that your expectations are aligned with potential outcomes, and that your actions are aligned with your goals and integrity. I can help you understand how the legal system works, help you manage the process of gathering the documents you will need, and offer you strategies to communicate more effectively through the conflict and flood of emotions that can derail you. I may not replace your need for an attorney, but I can help you reduce your attorney fees by helping you discern between issues which actually require his or her attention and issues which only require support and a place for you to vent.

How to get started:

Step 1: Introductory Call/Consultation: This free 30 minute introductory call is a chance for us to quickly "meet," get to know each other and for you to share your immediate needs and concerns. You will come away with a better sense of who I am and how I can help you through your divorce. You can schedule your Introductory Call/Consultation online here

Step 2: The First Session:  If coaching is a good fit for you, we will schedule our first session. The first session is usually a 90 minute one-on-one assessment/coaching session. During this session I will gather information about where you are in the divorce process in order to identify any upcoming deadlines, as well as the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges of your situation.  I can then begin to help you plan your next steps and together we can begin mapping out your individual goals and needs.

Step 3: On-Going Coaching

Coaching is a very personalized service. I meet with clients one-on-one, in person, by phone or video call. Some prefer one-on-one weekly guidance and others prefer to check in less frequently. You can completely customize your coaching program to ensure it matches your needs and budget. At each coaching session, we will check in and address what is presently happening, answer questions, discuss deadlines, and prepare you for what comes next. I will continue to provide additional resources for you as needed.

Consultation

If on-going coaching doesn't fit with your needs, but you would still like the ability to meet with me for consultation/coaching on an as needed basis, a consultation plan may work best for you. This plan is most efficient with longer coaching/consultation sessions, typically 90 - 180 minutes.

How to get started:

Step 1: Introductory Call/Consultation: This free 30 minute introductory call is a chance for us to quickly "meet," get to know each other and for you to share your immediate needs and concerns. You will come away with a better sense of who I am and how I can help you in the short term. You can schedule your Introductory Call/Consultation online here

Step 2: The First Session:  If you choose to work with me as a consultation only client, we will schedule our first coaching/consultation session. The first session is generally a 2 hour one-on-one session, but can vary depending on your case and your specific needs. During our first session I will gather basic information in order to understand the issues and how they relate to your needs and concerns, and to discover the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges you are facing so I can help you plan your next steps and determine your individual goals and needs.

Step 3: Future Coaching/Consultation

As the need arises you may schedule to meet with me again, one-on-one, in person, by phone or video call. At each coaching/consultation session, we will check in, address what is presently happening, discuss any upcoming deadlines, answer questions, and I will prepare you for what comes next. I will continue to provide additional resources for you as needed.  If at any time you feel you need more regular and frequent contact, we can easily transition to on-going divorce coaching.
